My last name is BERGLE. It has been known to have been changed to BERGL and other variations that I do not now recall. This is my married name. I was married to Allan J. Bergle. He died in 1981. His father was Charles Kalman Bergle. Charles Kalman Bergle was brought to this country when he was maybe 3 months old from Buda-Pest, Hungary. His family settled in Cleveland, OH. He had a (I believe older) sister named Rose who married a man named Ted (Theodore?, whose last name I cannot remember) and continued to live in Cleveland where they both (Ted and Rose) died. Charles Kalman Bergle graduated from Ohio State University. He was (I think) there on a tennis scholarship. Charles had a brother named John, who had a sone Eugene who was a bicycle enthusiast. At one time, in the '60s or '70s he bicycled from Cleveland to NY, the city. There are other details which I do not remember or was never told. The big question is: Does any of this bring up any hint of family ancestry? Is it possible that you are related to my children, sister/brother-in-law? Do you even care about these possible relatives? I can obtain other info, or put you in touch with other Bergl's or Bergle's. As I said Bergle is my married name, but I know that my kids would like to know about any relatives out there. I am now 75 years old. My kids, Kenny and Beth are 50 and 48 years old and happy and comfortable, but they have this big vacuum on their father's side that they do not know about. If you feel that there is any connection to this family, please let me know. My email address is honeybea@iorme.com. Anything you can possible add to the family hisotry would be greatly appreciated. All other avenues have not been fruitful. I will you continued great success in your career as an actor, whatever direction you take. I do have to say that "Men in Trees" was a wonderful TV program. We don't get it anymore in Houston, but I would watch re-runs in a New York minute. I am anxiously awaiting your reply.
